Doors
The most popular door options for security are industrial roller shutters, which are of a very high specification and available either galvanised or plasticol finished to match the colour of your building. Alternatively, timber swing doors, sectional doors or standard up and over doors can be supplied. |
Walls
The wall construction is made up of concrete panels, which are 1.98m (6'6") high x 0.91m (2'0") wide and 62mm thick, faced with a natural multispar chipping. The panels are reinforced with 6mm bars and connected with 3 x 6mm galvanised steel bolts. The concrete is designed for 25 n/mm2 at day one and achieves a minimum strength of 35 n/mm2 at 28 days. |
Cladding
The concrete and plastic coated cladding are held together using an internal steel portal frame, which fixes to the base, the concrete panels and the timber frame which is fixed to the cladding. Depending on the size of the building, steel bracing will be used in various places throughout the units. |
Roof
The roof itself is also generally plastic coated steel cladding (single skin or insulated), which is fixed directly to the steel roof trusses. If a more cost effective building is required, cement fibre roof sheets can be fitted.
Personal Access
If a personal access door is required we can supply three options - timber, light duty steel and heavy duty steel. If the door is to be fitted with a panic bar operation for fire regulations, the heavy duty steel door must be used. |
